WHO WE ARE
DIAWA was formed over 3 decades ago, circa 1988 by a group of Perth based demolition contractors. The vision was a collaborative approach in unifying and bettering the local demolition industry. Some 30 years on, DIAWA is still going strong today with similar modern visions. DIAWA is WA's demolition asbestos removal peak industry body and provides a voice for its members across the industry. Since its inception, DIAWA has focused on industry topics and reforms such as playing a key part in the introduction of demolition licencing in 2001 for WA.
